A divorce coach is someone who comes in during one of the most difficult transitions of your life and creates a partnership with you.  This gives you the benefit of having someone who understands the divorce system, as well as the experience to address any considerations for children with special needs. We also work with you on managing the challenges and decisions that need to be made so you can transition confidently into your new life.

Together we will develop strategies to keep your eye on the bigger picture instead of getting caught up in the bitterness and anger, which can only impede the process. Having a partnership with a divorce coach will reduce your stress, anxiety and costs while giving you a renewed sense of control over your life.

During co-parenting coaching, we will work together to develop a viable co-parenting plan. We will discuss the importance of stability, consistency, and effective communication skills. We identify trigger points and practice conflict resolution strategies. Having a co-parenting coach will allow both parents to be on the same page when it comes to putting the interest of the children first.

Just because the papers have been signed doesn’t mean your life falls back into place. During post-divorce coaching we will assess where you are, define where you want to be and create a goal-oriented action plan to get you there. Coaching centered around life after divorce includes the following:

  • Post-divorce checklist
  • Exploring employment options
  • Guidance on being a single parent
  • Self-rediscovery and finding your purpose
  • Post-divorce emotional support
  • Strategies for dealing with a difficult ex-spouse
  • Problem solving skills
  • Addressing challenges of being single again

Through coaching, you will learn to view life as a journey and discover the joy and excitement your new life brings.
